Leo’s kinder teacher suggested OT.

CallerHi, my son’s kinder teacher suggested OT. He’s five. Do I need a referral, and how long is your waitlist?

TervaYou don’t need a referral to book with us. There’s a waitlist for after-school times. Can I take some details for the team?

CallerSure. It’s Minh Tran, and he’s Leo. We’re not on the NDIS. School hours are fine.

TervaThanks, Minh. I’ve passed that on with your number. The team will call you about a first appointment.

What Terva answers, and what it leaves for you.

Terva answers only from what your practice has approved. Anything else becomes a callback request.

Never clinical. Terva gives no clinical advice. An urgent caller hears your urgent pathway and the 000 safety line, and your team is emailed straight away.

Booking into the software OT practices run.

Terva books into Cliniko, Nookal and Halaxy. We set it up with you on a call, on the Reception plan, for the appointment types, practitioners and locations you agree.

  • Cliniko

Existing patients only. A new caller becomes a booking request, so no duplicate records. Terva with Cliniko

  • Nookal

Existing patients only, for the same reason. Terva with Nookal

  • Halaxy

New patients too. Terva creates the record, then books. Terva with Halaxy

  • Other systems

On splose, Zanda, coreplus or something else? Integration is available for your practice software. Book a call with us and we’ll set it up with you. From day one, Terva takes booking requests and your team confirms them in your system.

If physios share your front desk, see Terva for physio clinics.

Hear it answer for your practice before a patient does.

Start with your website. Terva drafts what it will say, you check it, then you call it from your browser. Nothing reaches patients until you forward your calls.

Step 1

Add your website

Terva reads your hours, services, fees and new-patient details. It takes a minute or two.

Step 2

Check what it will say

Approve the answers Terva can give. Anything you haven’t checked stays off.

Step 3

Call it from your browser

Test calls are free and unlimited. Ask it what your patients ask.

Questions occupational therapists ask

Something else? Book a demo and ask us.

Does Terva book into Cliniko, Halaxy or Nookal?

Yes, integration is available for your practice software. Book a call with us and we’ll set it up with you. From day one, Terva takes booking requests and your team confirms them in your system.

Can we use it without a front desk or a desk phone?

Yes. You keep your number, mobile or landline, and forward only the calls nobody picks up. You can switch forwarding off at any time.

How does Terva handle NDIS, Medicare and waitlist questions?

Only from what you’ve approved, such as the funding you accept. What a plan will fund or what someone can claim becomes a callback request.

Does Terva give clinical advice, or say whether someone needs occupational therapy?

No. Terva takes admin calls only and never reads clinical notes. For a life-threatening emergency, it tells the caller to call 000.

Will support coordinators and parents know they’re talking to an AI?

Yes. Terva says it’s your practice’s AI receptionist as soon as it answers.

Where is our data kept?

Terva’s main application and database are hosted in Australia, and Terva doesn’t use patient information or call content to train its AI. Calls aren’t recorded; your dashboard keeps the transcript and summary. Our privacy policy has the details.
